James G. Gordon is a 1974 graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University and a 1977 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review. He has been admitted to the United States Supreme Court, the local federal courts and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Professional affiliations include the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Academy Of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, and a number of professional committees and sections, including county civil litigation and professional ethics bar section councils. He has been a trial attorney for over twenty years, concentrating in personal injury, business, real estate and probate law. Mr. Gordon has been active in a number of non-profit organizations, including board presidencies of a children's rights organization, a low income housing project, and a collaborative of fifty religious congregations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jim is a life-long resident of western Pennsylvania. He is married and has four children, ranging in ages from twenty-one to ten. Interests include travel, theatre, and athletics. Mr. Gordon is active in his church, where he is a member of Parish Council and a homeless shelter volunteer.
